Strawberry Sando Homemade | Pencuci Mulut Stoberi | Family Mart Inspiration

Strawberry Sandwich or Sando Sandwich in Japanese | Sandwich Stoberi atau Sandwic Sando dalam Japanese


Let's have a feeling in Japan or outside at Family Mart. I saw Sando Sandwich at the mart. The apperance is very alluring, beautiful. Didn't buy it, but bought something more filling when we were there.


Once had meal there, got home, no more eating session. I doubt it if I had Sando Sandwich i might need to eat again hehe..


Why didn't I buy main course meal then had Sando as Dessert, since I wanted to try it right? I knew the whole entourage want to do same. And this may exceed the budget :)


Okay back to making Sando Sandwich. Two slices of white bread, as you can see that while bread is more alluring dessert looking compare to whole meal bread.


Whipped cream the must find ingredient and another are Strawberries. Rarely at home, once they are home, you can have them repeatedly.


How to do it is as shown in the video. Whipped more cream in the middle of the bread. Lay cut strawberries, stack another slice, and cut it to two. Then ready to bite with coffee or tea. Very refreshing as cream with strawberry is a match from heaven.

Jom kita fefeeling kat Jepun atau di luar di Family Mart.  Ternampak sandwic stoberi tapi tak terbeli pula sebab bila ke sana akan ambil yang mengenyangkan.


Sekali dah makan kat luar, balik rumah tiada lagi sesi makan memakan. Saya ragu bila makan sandwic stoberi ni mesti nak cari sesuatu untuk menjamah lagi hehe.. 


Kenapa tak beli jer makanan mengenyangkan dan sandwich stoberi sebagai pencuci mulut kan? Dah tahu nanti jemaah saya nak jugak ikut beli itu ini sebab dessert family mart ni comel2 cantik ala korean juga. Terlebih budget nanti. 


Okay berbalik nak buat Sandwich Stoberi. Dua keping roti putih, jika perasan roti putih lagi terserlah iras dessert hehe.. dari roti fiber tinggi. 


Tekan whip cream, ini bahan utama dan yang satu lagi tu stoberi. Jarang ada di rumah, tapi bila dah ada boleh buat berulang kali. 


Cara nak buat tu ada dalam video. Tekan lebih krim ditengah roti. Susun stoberi di atas krim. Terlengkup dengan sekeping roti di atasnya. Potong dua. Siap untuk dinikmati dengan kopi atau teh. Menyegarkan sebab gandingan stoberi dan krim tu memang kena.

Sticky Rice Mango, Banana Fritters, Fish Lekor | Pulut Mangga, Pisang Goreng Keju, Keropok Lekor

Menikmati juadah sedap untuk meningkatkan mood ceria kan

Sweets from fruits that I do feel less guilty. 

Manis dari buah kurang rasa bersalah


Morning rises again, gratefully to fill up with meaningful moments, just a rotation to earn a living.  I liked to have fruits in the morning, to gain energy from fructose calorie or whatever they call it. Love the tastes of mango. Amazed how Thai people eat their mango. 


Sticky Rice, Mango with creamy coconut milk. 

Steamed glutinous rice with water or add coconut milk. Cut fresh mango. Coconut milk cooked with a bit of salt and sugar (optional) 


We also had banana fritters with cheese. New innovations from street food vendors. 


Cheese Banana Fritters

Cut fresh banana. Dip in mixed flour batter. Deep fried, lifted, put on kitchen towel, dried up. Sprinkled cheese with syrup or condensed milk


Another delicacy called keropok lekor was fish mixed flour fritter more or less like fish cake but more intact flavourful to eat just like that. 


Fish Lekor Fritters

Mashed fish mix with sago flour and salt, rolled to long shaped sausage. Bolied to precook. Cut to smaller size and deep fried. You can eat with homemade chilli sauce, more diluted and tasteful than bottled sauce. 


All the above are roughly basic ingredients. And ordered and delivered via Grab. Nice breakfast ever, met the tastebud.

Pagi hari menjelma dengan penuh kesyukuran berniat ingin mengisi hari yang indah. Macam kitaran hidup mencari nafkah. Saya terjebak makan manis buah buahan dipagi hari harap mendapat tenaga dari kalori fruktos yang diwarwarkan selalu. Suka dengan rasa sedap buah mangga dan teruja dengan cara orang Thai menikmati buah ini. 


Pulut, buah mangga dengan santan berlemak.

Kukus pulut dengan air dan tambah santan. Potong buah mangga. Santan dimasak hingga medidih dan dicampur sedikit garam dan gula (pilihan) 


Kami juga menikmati pisang goreng berkeju. Ini satu inovasi baru yang dicipta oleh peniaga peniaga jalanan. 


Pisang Goreng berkeju

Potong buah pisang. Celupkan tepung menggoreng. Goreng hingga garing, toskan kering menggunakan kertas tisu dapur/ surat khabar lama. Taburkan keju bersama sirap atau susu pekat. 


Satu lagi juadah yang dinikmati ialah keropok lekor, yang dibuat dari isi ikan dengan tepung sagu. Macam 'fish cake' tetapi lebih berperisa bila dimakan begitu saja. 


Keropok Lekor

Hancurkan isi ikan dicampurlkan dengan tepung sagu dan garam, kemudian di gulung seperti bentuk sosej panjang. Lepas itu di rebus pra masak. 

Potong saiz kecil dan goreng sehingga garing. Ia boleh dimakan dengan sos chili yang dibuat sendiri, yang lebih cair tetapi berperisa dari sos chili yang dibeli dalam botol. 


Bahan dan cara asas di atas. Hidangan dipesan dan dihantar oleh Grab. Sarapan pagi terbaik.. menepati citarasa.

Carrot Cake | Butter Scotch Gardenia

Sepotong kek dibahagi dua


Mesti beralas perut sebelum nikmati kek


As we are in the month of our merdeka celebration, I am thinking of making merdeka chocolate cake consists blue, red, yellow and white butter cream. But I ain't an artist nor expert in cake making. SubhanAllah even at position of knowing bssic to do it, I did got order for birthday and nikah event. When delivering the cakes, I also gave money as a gift for the event. The money flow in and out and back inshaAllah increasing. The order was just a plain cake without any cream frosting, I searched on the net and found this beautiful marble cake recipe.  I tried and it turned out similar and hand delivered to them. 

I have few experienced in this area and made some delivered via delivery service. I kept the photos in the hard disk and will dig out and keep the memory in here, InshaAllah. 

As I ever mentioned before, I've tried some food concepts like keto diet, a discpline which consume protein and fibre more. My current diet is more to 'on and off' but less carbo or sometimes no carbo at all and see how it goes with my mood. I'm just human and a woman right, whom loves sweet, and moreover having a partner in common interest right? Having said that, I 'accidentally' ordered a slice of carrot cake from Secret Recipe for remedy of longing, I even planned to eat early of the day and vowed to have it half only and promised to eat something else first. So it happened... that one morning in the breeze of early morning, I shared it with adik,  the partner in common interest. We had bread butter scotch gardenia. 


Syukur Selalu. InshaAllah.❤️ 


Sempena bulan kemerdekaan, terasa nak buat kek coklat krim mentega putih, merah, biru, dan kuning. Tapi tak berseni lagi tak reti pula. Tak patut bercita-cita tinggi kan? Dalam tak pandai pun, pernah dapat order kek marble jelita, pesanan hanya cuma kek butter kosong, tak berkrim tapi saya cari resepi di net, terjumpa yang viral dan saya cuba buat dan hantar kepada mereka. Ada untuk majlis harijadi atau ada untuk majlis nikah, saya kirim pula duit untuk hadiah majlis masa hantar kek, duit 'pun pi mai pi mai" tapi bertambah inshaAllah. Ada photonya tapi dalam harddisk, akan korek nanti buat bahan memori di sini. InshaAllah.


Sebenarnya sebelum PKP tu, pernah saya sebut adalah permulaan saya makan rendah karbo.. tah lah. Diet saya tu, cuma sayur dan lauk iaitu protin dari ikan atau ayam. Kurang nasi atau tak ambil langsung begitu on dan off. Tetapi sesekali tak boleh tahan, perempuan kan? salah jatina pula ek, lepas tu ada geng pula tu iaitu adik suka juga kek. Terorderlah kek carrot dari secret recipe buat b ubat rindu. Rancang makan pagi, berikrar nikmati separuh je, janji makan selepas makan alas perut dulu. Jadilah bersarapan kek carrot tu disuatu pagi hening sebelum tengahari. Alhamdulillah.

Mochi - Dessert orang Jepun

Alamak melekit, pa nik juga, letak je serbuk tepung di tangan. 

Tepung perlu disangai sebelum menyaluti Mochi, tapi terlupa menyangai, buat cara lain


There were few times we saw mochi at running sushi or on conveyor sushi rail. At the side of moving one way sushi, eyes at par view, looking at the assorted sushi but once in awhile mochi come by. First impression it looks like buah melaka, malacca cuisine, second look like kuih abuk-abuk. 


Thinking didn't considered it as decision until action taken rightly. We took one, tried it slowly and softly as it is soft and delicate. It taste so good as how it looks MashaAllah. 


So the memory remains and reminisce not enough to fill the tummy.

Since yesterday, we got to go out to search for home improvement items. Yes, to repair and not to decor; That's why we had to go out for a while. At this time around, we don't dare to go out for dentist. Which is important for growing kids. I had to to be a 'weredoctor' not 'werewolf' sometimes hehe.. Since the hardware shop is near by the baking supply shop, so took a chance and buy packs of glutenous rice flour and wheat flour. 

Came back home, and made mochi 


Mochi Recipe:

2 cups of flour

2 cups of water

Oil for coating

Peanut butter for filling (or your own choice) 

A bit of corn flour to sprinkle. 

Mix flour and water and stir well. Coat the rice cooker pot with oil thoroughly but lightly. Pour the mixture and cook for 3 minutes. Stir again until the dough look like ready mochi hehe.. 

Then scoop with table spoon, powder with the cornflour and fill with peanut butter and shape it to ball. I put them in the microwave for awhile to cook the coating flour. Then let them cool and ready to eat. Turn out like fine cusine exactly and soft and supple hehe. It taste so good, so simple ingredient but delicious like no other. Should try. Just now, I took out some from the fridge but it didn't become hard yet soft like yesterday. No need to defrost just ready to eat. Amazing.. 


Moga beringat mengamal sedekah subuh, berselawat❤️


Beberapa kali terserempak dengan pencuci mulut orang jepun, di running sushi atau sushi conveyor. Berada di tepi conveyor tu sudah pasti mencari beraneka sushi, wasabi, atau jeruk halia yang lalu sehala di paras mata. 

Sesekali ternampak Mochi. Mula malas nak ambil sebabnya, nampak macam kuih abuk-abuk atau kueh buah melaka tapi harga orang jepun, lebih baik makan kuih tempatan yang dijual di luar, lebih asli. 

Macammanapun terambil, makan pun perlahan sebabnya ia pun sangat lembut dan halus teksturnya, kita pun macam spontan jadi lemah gemalai. 

Semalam terpaksa keluar sebab mencari barang hardware, ada keperluan membaiki rumah, bukan mencantikkan rumah tetapi home improvement. Kesukaran zaman begini memang la terasa bila gigi anak anak sepatutnya  berjumpa doktor gigi, walhal itu adalah penting. Terpaksa tangguh dan jadi doktor gigi jadian, bukan serigala jadian hehe.. Dah keluar baking supply shop pun dekat situ je, beli tepung roti, bercadang nak buat roti, beli tepung pulut nak buat mochi. 

Ok resepi Mochi:

2 cawan tepung pulut

2 cawan air

Minyak  

Campur tepung dan air, kacau sebati hingga tiada ketulan. Sapu minyak di periuk nasi, biar rata.

Masukkan campur tepung pulut dan air tadi. Tekan on di periuk nasi. Biar masak 3 minit dia mula nak jadi macam kanji. 

Gaul sampai nampak macam doh mochi besar, tah tak ambil video kut sebab tangan berlemoih pun ya, phone pun di ambil orang pun ya. Adik la peminat tik tok, phone yang lain tak da tik tok apps. Lepas tu guna sudu besar kaut doh mochi sesudu dan bubuh sikit tepung jagung supaya tak melekit. Buat bentuk guli dan tekan rata. Masukkan peanut butter ditengah dan bulatkan balik. Serbuk tepung untuk disalut patut disangai, disebabkan tak disangai, jadi microwave sekejap, biar sejuk, siap dijamu. 

Memang lembut dan boleh dikategorikan makanan delicacy. Sebab 'fine cuisine' , pagi ni keluarkan dari peti sejuk mochi yang disimpan semalam, buka bekas, sentuh tetap lembut tak payah tunggu nyahbeku. Istimewa.

Moga berbanyak beribadah, terbaca entri Aidaniez (sorry jika tersalah ejaan) tersentuh tentang Surah Al-Baqarah, pernah amalkan, terlalu menakjubkan kesannya seperti magik ke atau rahmat. Tetapi itulah takut benar mencerita hal amalan kita, tetapi mungkin boleh menolong orang lainkan. Saya pula suka mencerita hal begitu, tu terberhenti blog atau share penulisan. Tah nantila solat istikarah. InshaAllah. ❤️

Crepe with coconut fillings / kuih ketayap berisi kelapa parut

I've been craving of malay kuih. Since we have schreded coconut for Pandan Cake toppings. I had an idea to make kuih gulung. I have tried it before but it turned up hard and broke when i folded. 

So it ended as birds food.  So i choose random western recipe then ketayap recipe. The recipe is below. 


May Allah swt make easy our matter and we succeed in it. InshaAllah. 


Betul kempunan nak makan kuih nyonya atau kuih melayu. Kami ada beli kelapa parut kering untuk topping kek pandan. Dari biar luput, saya cuba buat kuih gulung. Sebenarnya dah pernah buat kueh gulung ni tapi jadi keras  dan pecah bila digulung. Memang habuan burung yang pecah tu. Jadi saya pilih resepi crepe. Bila letak kelapa parut, anak2 suka ingatkan keju mozarella :) 


Crepe Asas


1 cawan tepung gandum

1 telur

1/2 st gula

1/4 st garam

1 cawan susu

Air, anggar kepekatan


Campur sebati. 


Moga dipermudahkan urusan dan urusan berjaya. InshaAllah

Scones | Fefeeling di airport

Somehow scones made the atmosphere more relax and settling.

Son takes fruits as dessert even better. He never likes cakes or any similar. 

If only the feeling of being at cafe or hotel, airport appeared, should one tries to make it, otherwise stick to fruits inshaAllah more fruitful😊

Tak sangka scones membuat keadaan lebih relax dan tenang. Si abang lebih rela makan buah sebagai pemanis mulut. Memang tak suka kek atau apa2 berkenan pencuci mulut ni.


Jika terasa nak ke cafe, hotel atau airport boleh la cuba. Kalau tidak potong buah inshaAllah lebih lazat.

Mama catit bahan2 dalam video kalau tak silap.
