Took us 4 hours to arrive at Johore. Departed early morning on a working day. No heavy traffic. Grateful.

Reach at the hotel, the rate was high not same as in the website.

We have made reservation online 2 weeks earlier. 

Argued abit at the counter, they accepted their mistake. 

If not, the rate is triple more. Thank God we got the offer rate, half price for 2, nights. 

5 star hotel Thistle, facing the neighbouring country Singapore. Seafront view near JDT training centre. 

Check in, hanged out bit, went out for break the fast. Watch night view

Tomorrow onwards, on Eid days, my sis in law gave Eid cookies, too delicious, she got the recipe from Tik Tok. Yummiest ever😍(if you wanna order let me know)

Ambil masa 4 jam untuk kami sampai di Johor. Bertolak pagi di hari bekerja, tiada kesesakkan jalan raya. Alhamdulillah

Sampai di hotel, harga di beri tinggi tak sama dengan tempahan di atas talian. Kami dah buat tempahan online 2 minggu sebelum. 

Bertekak sedikit di kaunter, mereka akur dengan kesilapan mereka.

Jika tidak, harga 3 kali ganda mahal, Alhamdulillah dapat harga offer separuh harga asal untuk 2 malam.

Hotel Thistle 5 bintang berdepan negara jiran Singapura. Permandangan seberang laut dekat dengan pusat latihan JDT.

Check in, lepak sekejap, keluar berbuka di luar.  Lihat pula permandangan waktu malam.

Esok² tu raya adik ipar bagi kuih raya tersedap, dia cakap resepi dari Tik Tok. Terpaling lazat 😍

Every time I stepped out on the lawn, saw the saplings or wild crop. Pick em up and planted them in pots.

Thought to put in the house or in the aquarium.

This work really need time. Once started, might as well finish it, otherwise the plants past by.

 

Once it has grown, I place them as decor. 

Love easy growing plants. Used to sow tomato plants, but too slow and impatient to nurture it. 

For food, sometime we tried to save time and money, we prep lunch boxes and eat like 'picnic style' :)

Setiap kali saya melangkah keluar, jejak rumput, nampak anak2 pokok yang menjalar.

Cabut, cucuk dalam pasu, biar bercambah 

Ingat boleh la letak dalam rumah atau dalam akuarium. 

Kerja ni perlu masa. Sekali dah mula lebih baik habiskan, jika tidak, tumbuhan layu relai begitu saja.

Bila dah membesar, saya letak ia sebagai dekor. 

Suka tumbuhan yang mudah hidup. Pernah semai pokok tomato, tapi terlambat dan tak penyabar untuk nak membelainya. 

Untuk makanan, kekadang kami cuba jimat masa dan wang, sedia bekalan dan makan ala berkelah :)

Came back from visiting my mom, I entered and felt like I need to brighten the house but not getting rid of anything. 

I can only afford to do one tiny front area here first. To change the floor mat under the steel chair. 

So I just changed the dark mat to  a beige color.  It was very hard to lift the barber chair. Slowly, I managed. I kept the chess set in a box and place it somewhere else. Relief. 

I cooked a simple ala quarter- quarter-half  but with more rice coz the household need to gain weight:)

Balik dari rumah emak, saya masuk macam rasa nak cerahkan rumah tapi tak nak buang apa². 

Mampu buat satu sudut depan ni ja dulu. Menukar alas lantai bawah kerusi besi tu. 

Jadi saya tukar alas kerusi yang berwarna hitam ke warna kuning air. 

Susah juga nak angkat kerusi barber ni. Pelan² berjaya juga. Set papan catur pun saya ambil simpan dalam kotaknya. Lega. 

Masak simple, suku-suku -separuh tapi nasi lebih, sebab dalam rumah ada yang nak naikkan berat badan :)

Woke up early at dawn but appeared in the hall not so early.

Done reading, went to open the blind. Triggered to tidy up the Raya elements. 

Got the camera hehe.. Place it infront of the table.

I moved the table mats, white color, I wish I have olive green color instead.  

Dust out, and wipe the wooden back drop with an effective technique below.

 

Zigzag way movement, up to the side, down abit decline and push to the side. 

Same goes on the table. Let it dry. I wanted the dining to have a minimalist look, so I place throw or mini blanket with plain green color to hide the floral fabric sofa. 

Replace the round cookies tier with candle stand. Looking bare and calm. 

Time to cook simple lunch, white rice with  sweet sour seafood. Its so easy but feel like a 'dine out' meal :)

Bangun di subuh hari tapi tak ke ruang depan seawal pagi. Dah habis mengaji, baru buka bidai. Tergerak hati nak mengemas elemen Raya eg bekas kuih. 

Ada kamera hehe.. Tanda saya lakukan demi keluarga nenjadi contoh untuk anak² sekurangnya. Letak ia menghadap meja makan. 

Saya angkat pelapik meja, berwarna putih, saya impikan yang berwarna hijau buah zaitun.

Buang habuk dan lap penghadang kayu di belakang dengan menguna teknik di bawah

Pergerakkan zigzag, dari atas, tolak ke hujung, tarik berselang sedikit ke bawah, dan tolak lurus ke tepi. 

Sama untuk meja, biar kering. 

Saya nak POV minimalis, jadi  saya tutup sarung sofa berbunga dengan selimut atau throw yang polos hijau. 

Tukar rak biskut raya dengan kaki lilin. 

Nampak lapang dan tenang kan..

Masa untuk memasak masakan ringkas, nasi putih dengan masam manis makanan laut. Mudah tapi rasa dihidang macam makanan kat kedai:)

Looking thru' the window, saw a bird, Yellow vented bulbul spesis to be exact. Cut onion, mushroom and a few others; sautee all.

Saw Hisbiscus blooms, the pink ones still there, whereas the red ones hardly seen it appeared.

The boiled pasta is ready, served with the red sauce on top. Fix a little salad with cut orange slices. It's refreshing with green and orange at the side of the plate. Poured the olive and vinegar dressing.

All is good, my son's friend came, time to attend and serve him pizza; That's the only dish my son can handled by himself :)

Lihat luar di tingkap ternampak burung, Merbah kapur. Potong bawang, cendawan dan lain2 nya, tumis semua. 

Nampak bunga raya mekar,  yang berwarna merah jambu masih banyak, yang berwarna merah, dah tak kelihatan lagi. 

Pasta dah siap direbus, sedia untuk di makan, bubuh kuah merah diatas. Sediakan salad dengan buah oren. Menyegarkan lihat hijau oren di sisi pinggan. Tuang minyak zaitun dan cuka epal. 

Semuanya bagus, kawan si abang pun dah datang, masa untuk bersembang dan hidangkan pizza sebab itu jer yang abang boleh kendali buat masa ni :)

By right, I supposed not to clean up his room. However, ever since watching the cleaning vlogs in youtube, my mood in cleaning have a bit of jumpstart. 

I chose his room as it is the one with the most acceptable condition so far. And also approriate a bit. Though messy, (yet not so). At least there is a focus on the bed, sides.

I don't know how to start actually, but picked the dumbbell first. Can you imagine it's located on the bed 😯

Imagine if it slip down on somebody's feet. Godforbid.

Then I stop making the bed, straight go to the corner, on the way at the bed side, I found a bag, belt, scout's scarf and crumple of tape on the table mat.

It took me sometime to clear that. 

I cleared by picking up and collected  then brought it to the corner where the camera is. As there is broken washing machine. Not sure when my husband wants to repair it.

Felt relief the slight tidiness and the productive act I've made🤭

Sebenarnya tak patutla saya mengemas bilik anak remaja. Tetapi, sejak tonton vlog kemas di youtube. Tercetus balik lah mood untuk mengemas. 

Saya pilih biliknya kerna kondisi nya yang boleh diterima sikit. Walaupun berselerak tapi masih boleh lagi kutip. Sekurangmya tumpu ke katil dam sisinya. 

Saya tak tahu nak mula di mana, tapi akhirnya mula dengan alihkan besi pengangkat berat daripada atas katil. Bayangkan bila² saja boleh jatuh atas kaki sesiapa pun. Nauzubillah. 

Seketika saya tinggalkan katil, lalu terus ke sudut hujung berdekatan tingkap, hala ke sana saya jumpa beg, tali pinggang, skaf pengakap dan gumpulan tape atas pelapik meja. 

Ambil masa juga nak kemas tu.

Saya kutip dan kumpulkan serta bawa ke hujung sudut di mana ada kamera di situ. Juga ada mesin basuh yang rosak. Tak tahu la en suami nak perbaiki bila. 

Rasa lega juga dengan sedikit kekemasan ini dan produktif tidakkan yang saya ambil🤭
