American Breakfast at Element by Westin | Sarapan orang Amerika di Element oleh Westin

Bahasa dan video pendek di bawah :)

English version and short video below :)

While uncle was around and it was still school holiday, we proceeded with ad-hoc leisure.

First tried on something interesting by going to Subang Airport SZB to test our luck there for tickets to Langkawi Island. |

Luckier I guessed, when we proceeded with a road trip to Kuala Lumpur instead, stopped at Intercontinental Hotel, where that night was full house, before walked out and checked in at Element by Westin nearby.

We bought dinner from outside and had it in the room. Enjoyed the stunning night view and also the bright fabulous day skyscraper view from the 4Oth floor.

The breakfast was luxurious though they only offered two types of menu e.g. Asian and American breakfast so we had both, kinda shared them among us.

The American meals we had were:

Toasts

Sausages

Omelette

Hashbrown

Fruits platter

Juice

Coffee and Tea

Whilst the Asian meals were:

Coconut rice with boiled egg anchovies, cucumber, shrimp

Curry puffs

Plenty of fruits

Juice

Coffee tea

Grateful for full tummy and proceeded to pick up Uncle after that.

Happy Wednesday ❤️

Roti bakar

Sosej

Telur hancur

Ubi goreng

Potongan buah

Jus

Kopi dan Teh

Manakala hidangan Asianya pula seperti di bawah:

Nasi Lemak, telur rebus, kacang sambal, ikan bilis goreng, udang

Karipap

Potongan buah

Jus

Kopi dan Teh

Alhamdulillah kenyang perut dan terus gerak menjemput Uncle.

Salam Rabu ❤️

Janda Baik Village for sight seeing or resting | Jom Jalan-jalan ke Kampung Janda Baik

Bahasa dan video seminit di bawah :)

English version and one minute video below:)

Tak sangka disambut dengan meriah video no 1/

They welcomed us in the video 1

Bagai persembahan

Like a show on stage

Beautiful show ends

Kids watched it til the end

Abang adik teruja

Not far from Kuala Lumpur, there is a beautiful village at Bentong, Pahang. A residential area that has converted to resort living near the city.

We planned to go south but  enroute to east.  We would like to have only a gateaway at that time.

Didn't mind going to the beach nearby or  joy ride around the city and back home was fun for us. We only brought a minimum amount of clean clothes with us.

Heading to east as far as to have Patin fermented durian curry at Termeloh. The infamous Gulai ikan patin tempoyak at Termerloh.

But we didn't go straight but stop at the big RNR Genting Sempah  area where the Mcdonald is location, behind it has a route to Janda Baik. Along the highway we had thoughts of stopping at Bukit Tinggi, and have a walk at the Japanese Garden.

If we go the opposite side of the highway, we will have a chance to visit Genting Highland, where one of the best experience was we 'unexpectedly stumbled' upon the canteen for the staffs and workers, and ended having a good hearty meal there. There is a hidden pathway in the mall that meant for staffs and we sort of wandered into the place. Anyway, this is my dad's way of exploration (way to go dad!) :)

For this trip, we however decidedto have a 'u- turn' after Bukit Tinggi and visit a beautiful village with a peculiar name of Janda Baik (Good Widow or Divorcee).

Our journey took us slightly up tothe highland location, that's what make the place different than any other normal village here. (a lot cooler too)

We found a lorong, not sure but after a short drive we found a resort; The place is kind of isolated but has the most impressive ambience and serene atmosphere.

We decided to stop and check where we can rest and fill up our growling tummies, the operator  offered us to stay at their new villa not far from there, a lake front house.

We quickly settled in and asked the caretaker to get us some food. In the morning, we witnessed the sprawling teratai flowers blooming all over the lake and they just look spectacularly beautiful.

A horse rider crossed by to make the morning lovely. During the night, my dad wanted to eat durian, we didn't bother to care coz of tiredness from the long trip and ready to enjoy the night in peace.

Dad however still had a way to have what he wanted, and the caretaker there was willing to fulfill his needs. He took mom's phone number. Keep calling her whether the price of durian outside was acceptable for them. If so, he would then buy and bring the durian to us.

Dreams came true for dad and mom when the durians were served in the villa, we took a chance to enjoy and cherished every seconds of the village stay moment.

I think I had the experience to be like a Janda Baik villager and eat like the resident eat. Now I remember the place name Bidaisari.

If  I ever go on travel again, I will want to do what the locals do, yes, just like the saying 'when you are in Rome do as the Romans do'.

Thats it the gateaway documentary hehe :)

Enjoy your day ❤️

Kecapi hari anda ❤️

Langkawi Island, Kedah

We landed at the Langkawi Island +Travel to Langkawi island Malaysia information , yet from the ocean we explored. We were fortunate to get invited to hit the wave in a motor yacht's relatives. From the experience on the boat had given us to be real travellers as to limit ourselves in packing, shrinking the size of belongings, get comfy from the start as to end the day with cargo pants as nighties, small thin towels to give space for souvenirs if any.

sunset lighted us up

Langkawi is like a small continent with an international airport +Langkawi International Airport proved it can be one. But in atlas, Langkawi is a part of +Kedah state, full of lagend with nostalgia but develop into an island of fantasy that people fancy about of Tasik Dayang Bunting, the local believed that the lake water has some magical ingredients that could fulfill wishes of unfortunate childless couple to gain fertility - source from www.langkawigeopark.com.my

The coincident magically happened to our cousin who longed for a baby ended up with 3 babies after soaked in the water under the sun of Tasik Dayang Bunting. It is a worth the trip with a small boat to get there, the eagle ushering from the sky, arrived at the lush green of old trees around the lake.

enjoy the fresh air in horizon

Langkawi's view is spectacular from the sea, the different kind of blue sky and sea is vast enuf to relax our eyes. The motor yacht itself is amazing with the homelike mobile home. The ride was the joyous ride. At the marina the meeting point, one by one climbed the boat, placed the bags in secured area and the captain asked about the readiness to navigate ahead the ocean. On the ocean, the breeze blew our face awaken us the best feeling with gratefulness.

lucky we're welcomed to a luxury yacht of a friend's

Hands raised pointing +Gunung Mat Cincang on the right, another pointed the fishermen boats, eyes looking forward to stopping at the nicest spot to swim and for some photos snapping.

The love of boating is part of travelling near or far, it is another horizon to put on next track. Hope we are on the right rail, so are you, gear up to travel though as close to send a kid to school, just amazing what and how you discover.

Love and fond greeting from us,

KLCC Lights High

Ad-hoc city holiday turned up as planned memory

view from Traders Hotel room

During a long weekend, we settled our first point homefeel hotel at KL city centre. Our stay was at +Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur , the experience traced the skylines of the major towers of the Petronas Twins. Live glass view from our room was clear as unblocking scene from the parks up to the peaks from the sky. We excitedly took the buggy from the ground floor provided by the hotel but didnt bug the padestrians a bit on the way to the Al-Fresco restaurants of the Suria Mall by the fountains. We had shrimp coctails at the Italian Cafe.+Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur Gobo Upstairs Lounge and Grill was the lunch served for us to a start the stay.

The shopping paradise at KLCC Suria Mall

The stop between tea and dinner we had shrimp cocktail at Limoncello Bistro KLCC.

Tower view at dusk

Our feeling was overwhelmed with proudness of the city with the tall buildings built the dream alive. +Tun Mahathir Mohamad our former PM was crossed in our top chat as he was the one that carved the concrete jungle for our convenience and enjoyment untraded mark of the country's capital city. We seized the day of the city by sightseeing. We wallked and talked about it as it is a citizen's crown on +Google maps

The night to remember we dinner out at +Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group KL's restaurant, the appetizer salad as the main course and ended the day with sleeping on a Sunday morning and dreaming living right in KL.

warm regards & love,
