Spring Rolls / Popia Goreng

Spring rolls that we made recently. Other than wanted to try, we would also like to introduce to kids. Most restaurants have these in their menu. Having it  at home reminisce the feeling of being outside.  Usually the fillings are vege but we mixed with protein. Making it is not that easy neither complicated.  Just time consuming and skill, saving attitude if ever as a  entrepreneur eg cut rectriangle, use whole sheet or divide to two triangle shape. It is good to go with sauce, but love the original taste though.

Saja cuba buat Popia goreng di mana ia makanan ala jajan minum petang. Mula nak makan juga teringin nak kenalkan makanan ni kat anak2. DI restoran2 ada jual spring roll,  jamah ni mengimbas memory berada di luar la juga. Biasa intinya diisi sayuran tapi kami campur protin. Tak susah nak buatnya, cuma mengambil masa hingga sambil lipat boleh terfikir ala pengusaha pula nak menjimat penggunaan kulit popia, potong memanjang, dapat 3 popia, potong tiga segi dapat dua.


Sedap dicicah dengan sos walaupun rasa asal lagi pergh..

Dim sum alike soup / Ala dim sum buat sendiri

Dim sum or dumplings alike. Instead of wrap the savoury(chicken, carrots, potatoes) in wonton wrappers, we wrapped it with spring rolls sheet, deocorated it with seaweed. Steamed them, add them in the soup. Simple soup with anchovies plus  stirred frying ingredients eg onions, garlic, ginger, and, some types of soy sauce. 


It was so good, comforting at throats and filling too. Glad we did it for the first time and all of us love it. I didnt speak much during eating as positively, silently prayed everyone satisfied and full. Alhamdullah.

Makanan Dim sum atau dumplings macam popia. Sepatutnya dibalut dengan kulit wonton tapi kami guna kulit popia untuk balut isian dari daging ayam, ubi dan carrot, cuma tambah kepingan seaweed.


Kukus semua, letak beberapa biji dalam sup masing-masing. Sup yang direbus dengan ikan bilis, bahan tumisan iaitu bawang merah dan bawang putih, kicap soya.


Sedap ditekak, memanaskan tubuh dan mengenyang perut. Syukur kami masak ni pertama kali, tak sangka semua suka. Mama tak cakap banyak masa makan, senyap sambil berdoa agar semua cukup dan puas. Alhamdulillah

Nyonya curry / Kari Nyonya

Lunch preparation started with asking each of everyone's tastebud. They have willingnes to fix their own dish.

One wanted fried chicken another we knew the answer as he (son) is a middle east foodie. To many times curry, we alternate to nyonya curry, it was our first time making it. Vege is overall must take or leave it.

We prefer roast chicken in the oven instead of frying for many reasons, save time, save cooking oil, save the air, first and foremost inshaAllah is healthy.


May Allah swt blessed us all with happiness❤️


Penyediaan makanan tengahari bermula dengan mengetahui kesukaan masing-masing. Dan mereka berbesar hati untuk masak hidangan sendiri.

Seorang suka ayam goreng (tetapi mama bakar dalam oven). Yang seorang lagi iaitu abang gemar ala ala masakkan Timur Tengah. Asyik gulai, kari, kami tukar ke ikan masak kari nyonya. Itupun pertama kali cuba masak kari nyonya seperti ketam mengajar anaknya berjalan dengan betul je. 

Lebih suka masak ayam dalam ketuhar kerana pelbagai sebabnya, jimat masa, tenaga, jimat minyak masak, kurang berbau di dapur, yang akhir yang patut diutamakan sihat. InshaAllah
