Just to show adik what and how to recycle some of the things. Love to hoard some or donate.  Usually I hoarded or transit things to a  place in the house, then only give them to the people who collected recycle scraps.  I love things, it's kinda hard to let go of anything, everything has a potential of becoming useful somewhere in my perspective. 

I've been to the Eco shop; where almost all things inside the store have a RM2 price tag. I couldn't resist to buy fake flowers. I am not a fan of plastic flowers, but real flowers come and go faster before you could enjoy them; So.. these fakey came in handy. 

So for this DIY project, there were 5 items:

    1. Rope - natural brown or white           would looked good. 

    2. Can - size up to you. 

    3. Glue

    4. Flowers

    5. Label sticker (farmhouse style) 

Apply glue around the tin can and go around it with the rope string til the whole can is covered. Stick the labeling sticker to your liking. And it's completed on the decoration part. Of course the next thing to do was arranging the flowers inside, which you can do as per your creativity flow.

Just love that farmhouse look style. It's simple to make and it make use of the recycle items. Actually you can also pick real flowers and dry them and use them to add the farmhouse elements.

Hanya berkongsi dengan adik cara menguna pakai bahan kitar semula untuk sesetengah benda. 

Suka menyimpan, sayang nak buang. Kadang beri kepada jiran, kadang transit satu tempat di dalam rumah, baru bawa keluar. 

Suka semua barang, nampak saja setiap benda tu ada banyak pontensinya, ikut perspektif minda. 

Pergi ke kedai eco, yang mana hampir semua barang barang nya berharga RM2 serba satu; Tak boleh tahan, nak beli bunga. Sebenarnya tak gemar bunga plastik pun. Bunga segar selalunya melayukan diri sebelum dapat dinikmati. Jadi.. akar pun berguna kan.. 

Untuk DIY ni, ada lima bahan

1.Tali - kalau boleh yang warna natural coklat atau putih. 

 2.Tin kosong - sais ikut suka

 3.Gam

 4.Bunga

 5. Stiker label berkonsep Rumah           Ladang

Sapu gam disekeliling  tin susu kosong. Lilit hingga penuh tertutup tin. Lekat stiker label di tengah tin. Letak bunga di dalamnya ikut minda kreatif masing masing, siap dah. 

Rasa menarik berelemen rumah ladang. Ringkas, guna kembali dari barang kitar semula. Cuma bunga plastik kurang sesuai, lebih elok ambil bunga betul, keringkan dan gunakan untuk menambah elemen rumah ladang.

Pretty sky, almost like Autumn but there is coconut tree as spoiler | 

Langit redup bagai musim luruh tetapi ada pula pokok kelapa..tak mungkin ada negara empat musim.

Just to jot down that l prepared eggs differently. And only took two items for the morning. Was surprised that I felt full til lunch. I tried to monitor my feelings of anger or hunger, neither one appeared to feel. I assumed I will take eggs for breakfast at least two time in a week. This was first time and too early to say though hehe.. I wanted to add dessert but then I tried to experiment without it.  

Ceasar Salad Recipe with boiled eggs that I used to take has bread croutons, I could make them with the bread but it didn't crossed my mind. Should be better if I did. By the way,  I broke the eggs into  bowls and steamed in the cooker. 

Just sharing the recipe, it's okay to take anything, all in the state of mind, my mother used to say   that and the same words come from someone whom ate from a workplace's canteen and rrstaurant. So think healthy.

Nak catitkan cara berlainan yang telah saya sediakan telur untuk sarapan. Cuma ambil dua bahan pagi tu. Terkejut rasa kenyang hingga ke tengahari Alhamdulillah. Cuba juga pantau perasaan marah atau lapar mara di perut, tidak sama sekali. 

Saya andaikan saya akan ambil telur dua kali untuk sarapan dalam seminggu, tetapi terlalu awal untuk putuskan hehe.. Tercari-cari pencuci mulut tetapi nak uji ketahanan tanpanya masa ni. 

Resepi salad ceasar yang saya pernah makan ada ketulan kiub roti kering,  senang nak buat tapi tak terfikir pulak sebelum menjamah. Lagi kenyang kut kalau ada. Oh ya cara kukus, pecahkan telur  dalam mangkuk dan kukus dalam periuk cooker. 

Saja kongsi resepi, yang sebenar makan yang lain pun tak pa semuanya adalah di minda saja, emak biasa cakap begitu,  dan kata-kata itu juga keluar dari seorang yang makan dari juadah kantin masa kerjanya atau kedai. Jadi fikir yang baik-baik saja.

Terrarium with Adik

Basics are small rocks, soil, mold and small plants. 

 keperluan asas ialah batu kecil, tanah dan lumut.

Adik was free in the morning, I asked her to join me to feed the birds. When we were outside I felt so fresh and heavy heart to go back inside the house. 

The ventilation in the house was

 not fresh as we closed all window except one or two. During physical school she would go out and school ventilation is way better. 

I got an idea to make terrarium as I think it is cute. A tiny garden in the a jar. The coway lady who came had ever bought out creation. 

Items needed

Empty Jam Jar or mayonaise Jar

Pebbles

Soil 

Mold

Small Plants

Tools small spoons will do. Mold can be found at top of the drain but can be replaced with sands to cover the soil. I have chosen one photo for you to see as some kept in the external harddisk.  In the video I used smaller jar.

Adik ada masa lapang di waktu pagi, saya ajak dia turut keluar memberi makan burung. Bila dah berada di luar rasa sayang pula nak tinggal udara segar dingin di luar. 

Semasa di sekolah adik akan dapat pengudaraan yang lebih bagus. 

Perudaraan di dalam rumah kurang segar kerana satu atau dua tingkap saja di buka, kecik je pulak tu. Belum ada net lagi.

Saya dapat idea nak buat terarrium. Kami dah pernah buat sebelum ni. Bila adhoc ni macam kurang bahan. Comel taman kecil ni, bercucuk tanam tapi dalam bekas kecil. Pernah pekerja coway beli hasil kerja kami. Alhamdulillah.  Saya letak gambar satu untuk tatapan manakala yang dalam video guna botol lebih kecil.

Anak-anak pokok yang kecil

Alatan tu boleh je guna sudu yang tak digunakan lagi. Lumut boleh didapati di lereng parit ataupun letak pasir hanya untuk menutupi tanah.

Chicken Pattie Salad | Salad Burger Ayam

Simple breakie 4 in 1 | Sarapan  mudah 4 dalam 1

Have desserts cut 45° cut for dessert no. 1 while waffle 60° cut dessert no. 2,   Salad filled almost half plate , what size for the protein? 

Pencuci mulut kuih bulan potong 45° .waffle potong 60  Salad hampir separuh pinggan, protin kali ni apakah saiznya?

Grateful  for the beautiful morning, I love the color of green on the plate. I have not much idea to make it delicious. Everyday consuming salad, I feel like cannot take it, somehow rice meet the tastebud even if taken often. 

If I could find the reason. But I'll first find the solution. Still I put green and protein because it filled the tummy and fueled the energy. 

We had mooncake but I ate it in 2 days the size was as mentioned, or in the photo. Same goes to waffle. Salad laid half the plate and half of chicken pattie was quite filling. 

I feel at ease eating salad almost everyday now. Salad has vitamin C with folate too, my body feel much lighter. I even did a makeover the outdoor setting, clean it up. Satisfying I must say. 

Hope it may reminded me to continue :)

Syukur pagi yang indah, suka rona hijau di atas pinggan. Dah tak banyak idea, nak buat sarapan yang enak. 

Setiap hari pengambilan salad menjadi tak larat tapi kalau nasi hari-hari bole je diisi. Kalaula tahu sebabnya, tapi usaha cari solusi dulu. Berbalik ulang letak salad, mesti dengan protin tu pasti. Mengenyangkan, membekal tenaga. 

Kami ada kuih bulan tapi makannya  dua hari dari sebiji. Saiz macam dalam gambar atau disebut iaitu potongan 45°. Sama untuk waffle.  Salad separuh pinggan manakala daging ayam burger separuh juga tak sangka lebih dari mencukupi. 

Rasa tenang selepas amalan makanan seperti ini Alhamdulillah. Mungkin kandungan vitamin C menenangkan, tubuh pun rasa lebih ringan. Hingga terbawa-bawa ubah sesuai kawasan luar, cuci mengemas. Puas boleh diluahkan. 

Harap ia mengingatkan untuk teruskan :)

Residential park just walking distance from home, only 10 steps away I would say. 

As we walked along the trail at the left side, there were people jogged from opposite right side from the same trail, I got nervous because they are sweaty wet. We were very careful to avoid a splash or even a drop.. 

 

We stopped and played with the peeled fruit like puppet. We also saw branches that fell down due to heavy rain or storm.  

After we finished a full circle, we saw an owl house installed on a tree in the park. Before, we have heard about a biological control system to have a pest free area by having the owls around. As a reference, one adult owl can hunt up to 3 to 6 rodents a night. Doing the math over here.. it will totaled up to 1095 to 2190 number of rodents a year for each bird optimistically. Just imagine if there are three or four birds around... hmm, that will not be a whole lot of rodents left around. 

I even learnt that the YB Adun  paid to whoever that brought the pest dead or alive down to the town council. On the lighter side, I'd say the owls would be the 'clear winner' here, if they can show the proof of the hunt, instead of eating them clean hehe.. 

Our past and current YB Adun (State Representative) have done a good job in our area. Young ladies from one another. 

Ok that's it, wrapping up care of our parks and neighbourhood :)

Taman di kawasan perumahan tak jauh dari rumah, boleh kata 10 tapak jer dah sampai (depan rumah). 

Kami jalan sepanjang trek kat tepi belah kiri, ada beberapa orang berjogging melawan arus dari belah kanan, cemas juga bila pelari berpeluh mendekati. Elak setitik terpercik..

Kami main dengan kulit buah tu macam puppet. Nampak banyak dahan terjatuh fasal ribut atau hujan lebat. Bila dah abis pusing sepenuh taman, ternampak pula sebuah rumah burung hantu.

Sebelum ini kami dah tahu projek kawalan biologi untuk membenteras haiwan perosak dengan membela burung hantu. Sebagai rujukan, seekor burung hantu yang matang boleh memburu 3 hingga 6 ekor mangsa semalam. Bayangkan kalau setahun... Meh buat congak sikit, 1095 hingga 2190 ekor setahun, untuk seekor burung. Kalau ada 3 atau 4 ekor burung, memang tak ada banyak lah yang tinggal.

Kami juga dapat tahu yang YB Adun di kawasan kami ini juga membayar duit buat penduduk yang bawa makhluk perosak itu samada hidup atau mati. Saja nak melawak disini, saya rasa si burung hantu lah yang akan kaya raya, kalau boleh tunjuk bukti buruannya dan bukan dia bedal licin.. hehe

YB Adun kami yang dulu dan sekarang masing masing telah menjalankan tugas mereka dengan bagus dan terbaik.  Wanita muda dari satu yang lalu dan yang kini. 

Ok itu saja liputan tentang penjagaan taman kami :).
