Took a ride before witnessing fireworks for new year celebration. Naik monorail, sebelum menyaksikan persembahan bunga api sempena tahun baru

Parents chit chatted with tourists.  | Bapa Emak berbual dengan pelancong. 

Talk about dad, he likes to go out to get breakfast for mom or they go out together and buy newspaper. Because of pandemic, he was struggling to stay home but he managed it well. 

Bercakap tentang bapa, beliau yang selalu bawa balik sarapan untuk emak atau keluar bersama sambil beli surat khabar.  Namun sejak pandemik ni, dialah yang cuba menjadi penyabar duduk di rumah. Alhamdulillah dia dah menyesuaikan diri. 

We have toured regularly around the peninsular of Malaysia. We explored the most in the central of our capital city. I preferred sitting down and sipping drinks at mamak shop. But that day, I lifted my body to venture by walking along the road side leading to monorail station at Bukit Nenas. Confused the rail went to Bukit Bintang or to Raja Laut. 

In between buildings that's for sure. One by one they were passing thru, visible by windows left and right. We enjoyed the moment on rail, kids and adults alike.

At the end of the rail is the NU Sentral station, but KL Sentral is the mother-of-all stations, where it'll connect you to anywhere you want to go in the Klang Valley. 

Now I'm kind of doubt whether the ride is an LRT or a monorail. First monorail then LRT. It was a good ride before the New Year Eve. We nevertheless had to rush back to the city for the fireworks.

I remembered seeing friends posting that their kids tucked on comfy beds at 12 midnight sharp. While we gawked with full round eyes to the awesome pyrotechnics display till the early of New Year morning. (in the future post). Due to tiredness, I leisurely followed the flow of the moment, some said that I was reluctant to join in the joy. I thank those who organised the celebration for the event, mind blowing moment and do missed that particular fun time that we used to have with regretness, as it has been two years that all events were kept to a halt.

Kami main-main bagai touris walaupun di Semenanjung Malaysia. Saja-saja terokai di tengah ibu kota. Lebih suka lepak duduk mengeteh bila hari petang suntuk begitu. 

Tapi mengangkat juga tubuh badan, menapak sepanjang jalan yang membawa ke stesen Bukit Nenas, masuk ja tak lupa duduk hehe.. 

Keliru juga trek ketapi bawa ke Bukit Bintang ke, atau ke Raja Laut. Yang pasti terjah di antara bangunan. 

Permandangan cepat berlalu kiri kanan tingkap ketapi satu rel. Nikmat sungguh rasa, macam rusa masuk pekan katakan, atas trek dengan generasi muda tua. Sampai di hujung tu stesen NU Sentral, KL sentral adalah 'ibu' pada semua stesen yang boleh bawa kita kemana mana di Lembah Klang ini.

Ragu pula LRT ka ni. Apapun monorail dulu kemudian LRT. Perjalanan tepi bangunan yang menarik sebelum masuk tahun baru. Namun terpaksa tergesa balik ke tengah bandar untuk tujuan asal,  'usha' bunga api menjelang tahun baru. 

Seingat saya kawan saya post gambar anak-anak mereka sedang tidur tepat pukul 12 malam. Manakala kami mendongak dengan mata bulat penuh melihat pecahan dan kilauan cahaya bunga api yang menakjubkan di langit. Penat juga malam tu, ada mengatakan saya jual mahal pula, macam tak enjoy. Terima kasih kepada yang merancangkan detik indah itu. begitu menyayat hati hingga kini merindui saat lalu dengan sesalan, kerana telah dua tahun semuanya terberhenti.

Miso Soup - Twas' the night of full moon / Sup Jepun Miso Dikala bulan mengambang

Unexpected visitor, again the baby fox |Tetamu diundang, sekali lagi anak musang menjelma, 

Thinking of what to do with the baby fox while serving Miso Soup (Japanese Soup)

Witnessing full moon | Menyaksikan bulan mengambang

Shocked almost roared to see baby fox again | Terkejut hampir mengaum (menjerit) terserempak dengan anak musang lagi. 

Thought to express my dissappointment here when I saw the blurred moon in an uncleared sky. Enclosed feeling to express inside. Yet I  suppressed the experience of the blurried sighting as I was shocked to see the baby fox again for the second time. 

While going inside the house, we discussed to catch it and put in the enclosure overnight and send it to Municipal Council the next morning. Obviously, this baby fox is lost and we didn't know what happened to it's mother. They have a mini zoo over there and maybe the babe welfare would be taken good cared of. Discussing while  preparing Miso Soup (Japanese traditional soup). Cutting the seaweed and cut the beancurd in small cubes. Boiled garlic cloves, prawns, enoki mushrooms in miso paste mix with water. 

We knew the fox is sleeping on the grill (didn't take the picture) . The soup was fast prepared, fill the bowl  with noodles. Gratefully it was served as a hearthy dinner for the night. 

What happened to the baby fox? Turned out the rescue did not ended well when it heroically jumped out and ran away into the darkness of the night. Was it lucky to escape or in grave danger being all alone in the urban jungle. I hope to see it again just to make sure that it is safe. 

I managed to film(video) moon of the night phenomena, while entering inside bumped to baby fox, spending time in kitchen to end the night. Did you ever encounter a long night moment?

Ingat hendak meluahkan rasa kecewa pabila melihat bulan mengambang kabur di langit mendung berawan. Terpaksa pendamkan dulu rasa kerana terkejut bila terserempak sekali lagi dengan si anak musang. 

Semasa di dalam rumah, kami berbincang bagaimana untuk menangkap anak musang dan menghantarnya kepada pihak majlis pembandaran keesokan hari. Jelas benar ia sudah terpisah dengan ibunya yang tak diketahui apa jadi. Di sana ada sebuah zoo mini dan kami berharap ia akan mendapat kebajikan dan penjagaan yang baik disana. 

Berbincang sesambil sibuk menyediakan sup orang Jepun, iaitu sup Miso.

Memotong kepingan rumpai air dan mendadu tofu lembut. Diikuti dengan merebus bawang putih, kulat enoki didalam pes Miso yang dicampur air. 

Kami nampak anak musang sedang tidur di besi grill (tak sempat nak ambil gambar masa ni) 

Apapun sup miso cepat benar mendidih masak, dan memenuhi mangkuk dengan mee dan rumpai laut dan tofu lembut. Alhamdulillah, siaplah ia sebagai makan malam kami pada malam tu. 

Apa yang jadi pada si anak musang? Ternyata misi menyelamat kami tak berhasil bila ia dengan gagahnya meloncat turun dan lari menghilang dalam kegelapan malam. Adakah ia bertuah kerana terlepas atau dalam bahaya kerana bersendirian di hutan bandar ini? Saya berharap dapat bertemu dengannya untuk mengetahui yang ia selamat. 

Sempatlah ambil video dari menyaksikan fenomena bulan di luar, meredah masuk, terserempak dengan musang, berlama didapur di penghujung malam.  Pernahkah kalian mengalami malam yang penuh makna begini?

Long walk to reach to the top for waterfall 

Jalan jauh untuk sampai ke air terjun

Climb at the normal trail then with staircase to the pool| 

memanjat jalan lereng bukit dan bertangga untuk sampai ke telaga. 

When we saw the beautiful photos of waterfalls, it is not just come easy to see waterfalls infront of our eyes. Unless nowadays they have drone to do the job. A lot of efforts to have a view of one waterfall.  Too much hassle behind the scene. If the energy rush in, then climb higher for better one. 

 

I was low in energy after thinking of the slippery trails with kids along. Anyway, everything was fine that we have made it at the Jeriau Waterfalls, Fraser's Hill.

After I searched on the net, it is kind of same waterfall that we've been before. I wuz there carved with love at the tree trunk :) 

Adik was fast, she climbed alone and I'm glad to video her, back of my mind I was careless to let her alone with free hand climbing like that. 

Being in nature is wonderful to wander and breathe the fresh air. We all need that real oxygen in the green forest hill somtimes. Do you like hiking?

Bila lihat gambar air terjun yang cantik, baru tahu bukannya senang hendak sampai kesitu untuk mengambil gambar, lain la sekarang ada drone untuk buat kerja itu. 

Penuh kegigihan dibelakang tabir untuk berhadapan dengan air terjun. Jika bertenaga lebih boleh la memanjat lebih tinggi untuk menikmati air terjun yang lebih indah.

Memang jadi kurang bertenaga bila memerah otak nak mengelak dari tergenlincir di lereng bukit terutama bersama budak-budak.

Tetapi Alhamdulillah dah selamat sampai di air terjun Jeriau, Bukit Fraser. 

Selepas pencarian gambar air terjun ini, banyak persamaan air terjun dalam video pendek saya:) Saya dah sampai situ, lakar nama di batang pokok :) 

Adik memang pantas, memanjat tanpa berpaut pada pemegang tangga.  Berat juga kepala bila lihat balik, rasa lalai membiarkan dia seorang diri ke depan. 

Berada di alami yang sangat menakjubkan untuk bersiar dan bernafas udara bersih. Semua kita memerlukan oksigen sesegar di dalam hutan bukit yang hijau kekadang.  Kalian suka memanjat  bukit atau "hiking" ?
