Baked Potatoes with Bolognese sauce | Ubi bakar dengan sos spageti Bolognese

Acknowledged that eating real food in their original form is good | Dapat pengetahuan yang makan makanan baik adalah dalam keadaan ia asal. 

So potatoes were chosen |

 Jadi ubi kentang terpilih

Since eating processed food was inevitable while I am outside, I tried baking potatoes just like that. 

Cut them into pieces, sprinkled with oil and bake for 25 mins I think, in the oven. Then, I scooped up the bolognese sauce from the dinner leftover and put on top of the potato wedges to eat it with. 

Kind of fusion and rare but simply tasty. Might try it like this again. Still on the 2021 throwback meal.

Sejak makan makanan proses tidak dapat dielakkan bila di luar, saya cuba bakar ubi kentang dalam ketuhar macam tu jer. 

Potong ala kadar macam 'wedges', tuang minyak dan bakar dalam 25 minit kot. 

Ceduk sesudu sos bolognese yang disimpan dari makan malam untuk dimakan bersama. 

Macam makanan fusion dan jarang pula tapi sedap secukup rasa. Alhamdulillah. Mungkin nak buat lagi. Masih tentang hidangan tahun 2021 ni.

Arrived home late evening, straight pounded with mortar all the ingredients. |

 Sampai rumah dah malam, terus tumbuk bahan-bahan dengan batu lesung. 

Fast prepared and yummy meal like this gave time for movie. | Makanan cepat dalam penyediaan dan sedap macam ni dapatlah menyusul untuk tonton wayang. 

It crossed my mind to make the simple fried rice with shrimp paste and thinly sliced fish cake.   

So I quickly cut all the onion, garlic, chillie flakes and put them in the mortar.  Sauteed it, mix with rice. 

Made a volcano hole around the rice, broke the egg in it, and let it cooked a bit and mixed well with rice. 

The food was delicious and quite filling. We went up for prayers and lie down for movie time. 'Jungle Cruise' was an enjoyable adventure movie, plots thickening with inquisitive ending.

That's it the activity of the night without any plans :)

Terlintas di minda nak kan nasi goreng ringkas dengan belacan dan fish cake dipotong nipis.

Jadi hiris bawang, bawang putih, kepingan cili dan masuk dalam batu lesung. Tumis semua dalam belanga, campur nasi sejuk. 

Buat lubang ala gunung berapi, pecah telur didalamnya dan biar masak sikit dan gaul sebati. 

Begitu enak sekali dan mengenyangkan. Naik keatas, solat dan terus melunjur sambil tonton filem yang mengasyikkan iaitu 'Jungle Cruise', setiap babak penuh misteri, tertunggu-tunggu apa pengakhirannya. Itu jer lah aktiviti malam itu yang tanpa dirancang :)

Oatmeal Pancake with strawberry and strawberry juice

Just remember I had strawberries in the freezer a week before.| | Baru teringat ada stroberi di peti ais dah seminggu. 

Thought the frozen strawberries would still be good. | ingat stroberi beku masih sedap. 

It has been long time that I hadn't have oatmeal pancake, so I made them. I made a lot, like 10 servings. 

We ate 2 each and kept the rest for frozen. I was excited to defrost the strawberries and wanted to eat them raw. Turned out the strawberries was watery after thawed. 

I immediately decided to make strawberry juice instead. It was good and refreshing. 

That's it, felt good that I made a low carb breakfast  once in awhile :)

Dah lama tak makan pancake yang beroats, alhamdulillah terbuatnya suatu pagi. Dapatla dalam 10 biji. 

Kami makan 2 biji seorang dan simpan selebihnya untuk dibekukan. Saya teruja nak nyahbekukan stroberi dan menjamahnya.  Tapi ia berair dan lain rasa dari buah berri beku dari kilang. 

Saya terus tukar fikiran dan segera buat jus stroberi.  Alhamdulillah jadi elok dan menyegarkan. 

Itu saja, rasa lega juga dapat buat sarapan rendah karbo sekali sekala :)

Chicken Pies brought to KL for food tasting | Pai Ayam di bawa ke Kl untuk dirasa

Planned to have my pie be tasted by expert people | Rancang hendak juga insan yang pakar untuk merasa pai saya

From home to pickup parents and take them to KL | Dari rumah pergi ambil parents dan bawa ke KL

Prepared the pies in a better way this time. Used the cupcake tray and I made the design on top of the pies.

Brought them to KL but before that, we had to pass by the nature residential area to pick up my parents, and over there saw a magpie-robin bird , yes "nature" said adik and abang because the internet was kind of slow there.  

On the way, I took photos of the unique kind of building, with greenery facade under the crossover of jalan Ampang, and then slightly the De'Wan Cafe of the local celebrity Chef Wan fame, which located at the Linc mall. 

Back to the pies, it went into the elevator, arrived to the kitchen and I took them to the window with the skylines view for a photo profile :)

Dad & co said the pies were delicious,  the fillings were  flavourful but they doubted that I can provide them again the next day. So right, I doubted it myself, hehe.. 

I made the video by sequence of what I took. I didn't have the ones while making it. I knew I used gloves and sure adik helped me to film it at that time. Perhaps the videos were in my phone somewhere. Gonna get digging to find them.

Menyediakan pai dengan cara yang lebih elok kali ini. Buat di dalam talam cupcake dan saya buat desain ala logo dan letak di atas pai. 

Bawa pai ke KL tapi kena singgah di kawasan perumahan alam kehijauan untuk ambil parents, ya..alam hijau di sini kata abang adik sebab kelajuan internet pun perlahan.

Di dalam perjalanan, saya ambil gambar gambar bangunan unik, kehijauan tepi crossover jalan Ampang tu teruja, cuba juga ambil sipi-sipi ganbar restoran Chef Wan 'De Wan' di the Linc. 

Berbalik ke pai-pai tersebut; pai ayam dah masuk lif, sampai di dapur dan saya bawa pula ke tingkap berdepan dengan permandangan pencakar langit untuk ambil gambar profil :) 

Bapa dan geng kata pai saya sedap, intinya pun secukup rasa, akan tetapi mereka ragui bolehkah saya buat lagi untuk esok. Hmm? Saya pun raguinya juga, dengan masa dan tenaga yang ada.. hehe

Saya buat video ikut haribulan terdahulu. Tak nampak pula video yang semasa tengah membuatnya. Memanglah ada pakai sarung tangan, biasanya adik akan menolong. Mungkin ada dimana-mana video 'the making' dalam handphone saya tu InshaAllah. Akan usaha mencarinya.

 Malam sebelumnya, pasang lampu malam untuk adik

Feeling good when I got to prepare for breakfast. Love having the green in the morning.

The night before I tried to place a  table lamp beside Adik's table. As before this, Adik didn't need night light because she had a fish bowl with light.

Since the fish aquarium is 'under contruction' due to not much time to care of it and also need to train adik to be really responsible to take care of her pet. So, I just decided to arranged the table lamp first.

Yes, about breakfast I loved having breakfast like this but it seemed to be so time consuming nowdays. I would try to make 'prep food' ahead for a few days. Let's just see...

Rasa gembira bila dapat siapkan sarapan seperti ini. Suka dapat makanan yang hijau diwaktu pagi.

Malam sebelumnya, saya telah meletakkan satu lampu meja di meja bilik adik. Sebelum ini dia tak perlu lampu meja sebab ada lampu di akuarium ikannya.

Namun sekarang, akuarium ikan ni 'dalam pembinaan' semula, sebab tak banyak masa nak menyelenggarakannya. Dan juga kena latih adik untuk lebih bertanggung jawab menjaga ikan ikannya itu. Oleh itulah saya letak lampu meja dahulu.

Oh ya! Mengenai sarapan ini, saya memang suka nak buat sarapan sebegini. Tetapi kini agak susah disebabkan oleh kekangan masa. Saya nak cuba buat 'prep food' masa akan datang untuk beberapa hari. Tungguuu.....

Spaghetti Carbonara

After we went to see swimming pool, dad wanted Fried Mee for Lunch. |

Setelah pergi tengok kolam renang, bapa minta Mi Goreng Mamak untuk makan tengahari

Due to Friday, the delivery is temporarily closed (based on my experience). (just started using shopeefood

| Disebabkan hari Jumaat penghantaran tutup buat sementara waktu (dah mula guna shopeefood) 

It was a beautiful day. We wanted to take parents for a walk down the park. After entering the elevator, we had second thoughts and remembered that the swimming pool level in the tower also had some open air space. 

We did sightseeing to the below view, and saw the other building's swimming pool. The swimming pool  area  of our building was still closed but the gym was open for use. 

I  also sat down, took a lot of photo of parents but Dad enjoyed the scenic view for awhile. It was still late morning going to 12noon I think, but my dad was getting hungry.  

He wanted south asian fried mee. We negotiated with him to eat Spaghetti Carbonara instead. He was okay with it. 

I bought a slice of chocolate cake and shared it with many people hehe.. 

My mother had a Bolognese Spaghetti and yes she preferred the red sauce over the white Carbonara. (To tight for me to do filming at the time). 

Both of them enjoyed pasta so much, but dad said it was a bit expensive. True.

Cuaca hari itu sangat baik dan indah. Rasa mulanya hendak bawa emak dan bapa saya jalan-jalan hingga sampai ke taman. Selepas masuk dalam lif, terfikir pulak lebih baik singgah ke tingkat kolam renang bangunan ini, dimana ada sedikit ruang terbuka untuk semua menikmati udara segar di luar. 

Kami pakat cuci mata dari  permandangan atas ke bawah, dapat skodeng kolam renang bangunan lain. Kolam renang di bangunan kami berada masih tutup, tetapi gimnasiumnya dah di buka. 

Saya duduk sekejap, dan ambil banyak gambar parents tapi bapa cuma boleh layan sekejap je. Masih awal rasanya tak sampai tengahari, bapa dah mula rasa lapar.

Dia minta mi goreng mamak. Saya rasa kedai banyak tak dapat buat penghantaran watu hari Jumaat ni kalau ikut pengalaman. Kami runding dengannya untuk makan Spageti Karbonara lagi. Dia terus okay je.

Saya beli sepotong kek coklat, dan berkongsi dengan ramai orang hehe..

Emak pula makan Spageti Bolognese, ya dia lebih suka kuah merah dari kuah putih Karbonara. (kelam kabut sikit masa ni nak ambil video).

Mereka memang suka makan pasta, tapi bapa kata mahal. Betul tu.
